Adriano B. Brescacin

Dr. Adriano Brescacin brings academic excellence and compassionate, evidence-based care to his practice in Sault Ste. Marie. Raised in Northern Ontario, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Melbourne Dental School, guided by a commitment to improving oral health and its contribution to overall well-being.

Triple board certified, Dr. Brescacin is engaged in the international dental community and committed to continuing education and research. During his studies, he received the William Leslie Elvins Prize as the top student in Oral Surgery. He also earned the Therapeutic Guidelines Doctor of Dental Surgery Prize for achieving the highest aggregate in Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery and Special Needs Dentistry during his penultimate year.

Dr. Brescacin’s approach to care centres on clear communication, personalized treatment plans, and a welcoming, empathetic environment. He helps patients make informed decisions about their oral health, with an emphasis on education and prevention. His commitment extends beyond the clinic through collaboration with local organizations and efforts to improve access to dental care.

Dr. Brescacin serves as President of the Sault Ste. Marie and District Dental Society, a component society of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). In 2026, he was elected to the ODA’s Political Action Committee, serving on behalf of his colleagues and the dental profession. He also serves as an ODA Political Contact Dentist for the Algoma–Manitoulin and Sault Ste. Marie ridings, working with elected representatives and community stakeholders to support the association’s advocacy priorities and advance the interests of patients and the profession across Northern Ontario.
